Proclamation of 1763 - Colonists weren't allowed to move west of the Appalachian Mountains
Declaratory Act - Britain's Parliament could make laws for colonists
Quartering Troops - Required the colonists to house or take care of the troops
Freedom of the Press (Zenger Trial) - Allows you to speak freely about the government
Sugar Act - Cracked down on the trade of sugar (Didn't raise taxes)
Stamp Act - You had to purchase a stamp to buy paper products. Essentially was a tax. (First time colonists were directly taxed)
Townshend Act - Taxed on lead, glass, paint, tea, etc.
Tea Act - The British East Indian Company made a monopoly of tea
Boston Massacre - Five people were shot & killed in a quarrel
Boston Tea Party - Men dressed up as Indians boarded a tea ship, and threw the tea into the harbor
Intolerable Acts - Boston Harbor was closed & SC sent barrels of rice to Boston to feed residents
